Budgeting Baddie 🙂↕️
Your monthly money command center – see exactly where you stand.
This is your home base for monthly money management. Get a complete view of how you're doing with your money throughout the month – income, spending, savings, and debt all in one place.
Five sections that tell the whole story:
Current bank account status
Monthly health check
Previous vs. current month comparison
Current month spending breakdown
Debt payoff progress
Section 1: Current Bank Accounts
Before you budget, know where you're starting.
Check your current situation across the three main pillars of your finances:
Checking balance – Your spending money
Credit card balance – What you owe
Savings balance – What you've saved
You can't plan a budget without knowing your starting point. This section shows you exactly where all your money is right now.
Section 2: Monthly Health Check
See if you're winning the month at a glance.
This is your high-level financial health check. Three big questions:
Are you earning enough?
Are you keeping spending under control?
Did you hit your savings goals?
Gauge charts show how close you are to your targets. Green means you're on track, red means you need to adjust.
Your goal: Fill all the gauges by the end of the month. The visual makes it instantly clear if you're crushing it or need to course-correct.
Section 3: Previous vs. Current Month
Learn from last month to budget better this month.
Compare last month to this month side-by-side:
How much did you earn vs. expect to earn?
How much did you spend vs. budget to spend?
Where did you go over or under?
Use these insights to adjust your current month's budget. The more data you collect and reflect on, the better you'll get at predicting your finances.
Pro tip: Write monthly reflections. Track what went well and what didn't. Your future self will thank you.
Section 4: Current Month Spending Breakdown
Understand where every dollar is going.
See your spending from multiple angles:
Monthly Expense by Category – Pie chart or list showing how much went to each category (food, rent, entertainment, etc.)
Needs and Wants Progress Bars – Track spending limits in each area. See how much you have left before hitting your budget.
Spending Trend Per Week – Line chart showing how much money leaves your account each week. Spot patterns like "I always overspend in week 3."
These graphics give you context and help you spot trends you'd miss looking at raw numbers.
Section 5: Debt Payoff Overview
Track if you're actually reducing debt or just treading water.
Debt tracking is essential because it's sneaky. You might pay down $500 on your credit card, then charge $600 the next week. Are you actually making progress?
This chart shows your debt balance over time. If the line is going down, you're winning. If it's flat or going up, you're not making real progress yet.
Consistent tracking keeps debt from spiraling out of control.
