Every account in Munyun has its own currency (USD, EUR, GBP, whatever). When you connect accounts through Plaid or MoneyKit, we automatically set the currency to match your bank.

But here's the cool part:

You can view EVERYTHING in a completely different currency if you want. Have accounts in USD, EUR, and JPY? Display it all in GBP. Or CAD. Or literally any currency.

How to change your display currency:

1. Go to User Settings

2. Click the System tab

3. Pick your currency

4. Save

5. Done – everything converts automatically

We support 60+ currencies – all major fiat currencies plus major cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Why this is powerful:

Most finance apps can't handle multiple currencies at all, or they do it terribly. Munyun converts everything in real-time, so you always see accurate numbers no matter what currencies your accounts are in.

Tracking crypto

All conversions happen in real-time, which means if you hold crypto, you can track its current value too.

We don't support crypto wallet connections yet, but you can track it manually:

1. Add a manual account

2. Set the currency to your crypto (like BTC)

3. Enter how much you own (like 1.5 for 1.5 Bitcoins)

Now it contributes to your total net worth, and the value updates automatically based on current crypto prices.
