Manual Overrides (Fixing Data Errors) 🔧

Sometimes banks send us wrong data – here's how to fix it.

It's rare, but sometimes data from your bank comes through wrong. Like, your balance is in the wrong currency, or a positive number shows up as negative.

When this happens, you can manually override the bad data so your numbers are actually accurate.

Common issues we've seen:

  • Wrong currency – Your USD account is showing up as EUR or something random

  • Wrong sign – Your balance is negative when it should be positive (or vice versa)

First step: Contact us

If your data looks messed up, hit up Munyun Support. We'll investigate and figure out what's going on. If you need to override something, we'll walk you through it.

How to override values:

  1. Go to the account that has wrong data

  2. Click the edit button

  3. Find the "Manual Overrides" section

  4. Enter the correct values

  5. Refresh – Munyun usually updates automatically, but if not, refresh the page manually

That's it. Your data should now show the correct numbers.
