Merchants 🏪

Banks are terrible at merchant names. You'll see stuff like "AMZNMKTP US4H7KL9" instead of just "Amazon," or five different variations of the same coffee shop.

This makes it impossible to see patterns in your spending. How much did you actually spend at Starbucks if it shows up as "STARBUCKS #4521," "Starbucks - Downtown," and "SBUX 0987"?

Fix it once, fixes everywhere:

Search for a merchant by keyword, rename it to something clean, and boom – all transactions from that merchant update automatically. It's like creating a rule but specifically for merchant names.

Want to see all your merchants at once? The Merchants module shows them in a bubble chart for whatever time period you pick. Bigger bubbles = more money spent there.

What you can do:

• Click any bubble to rename that merchant

• Click the merchant card to see all transactions from that place

Clean merchant names = way easier to understand where your money actually goes.
