Radar 🔍
Your money watchdog – alerts you when something's up.
Radar is like having a friend who constantly checks your finances and taps you on the shoulder when something needs attention.
It automatically scans your accounts and transactions to catch important stuff like:
Big transactions you might want to double-check
Unusual spending (did someone steal your card info?)
Low balances (before you overdraft)
Going over budget in certain categories
Bills coming up soon
Charges from merchants you've never seen before
Spending in locations you've never been to
Weird changes in your account balances
Why this matters:
Life moves fast and it's easy to miss stuff that could mess up your finances. Radar catches problems early, before they get worse.
Real-world examples:
Fraud detection: See a charge from a weird merchant you don't recognize? Radar flags it so you can check if your card got stolen.
Avoid fees: Get alerted when your checking account is running low, so you don't get hit with overdraft fees.
Credit building: Keep an eye on your credit card balances so you're not using too much of your available credit (which hurts your credit score).
Budget tracking: Get a heads up when you're about to blow past your budget in any category.
How it works:
Auto-scan: Every time you log into Munyun, Radar automatically runs and checks everything. If it finds something worth your attention, you'll see alert cards.
Manual scan: Want to check right now? Hit the "Update" button and run a fresh scan.
Email alerts (coming soon): We're working on sending you daily or weekly email summaries of important alerts. Want early access? Hit us up via chat or email.
What to do with alerts:
Click any alert to see more details. You can:
Mark it as read
Dismiss it if it's not a big deal
Jump to the related page to investigate more
Read the suggestion on each alert – it'll help you understand what's happening and what to do about it.
Heads up: Radar is still pretty new. We're adding more detection policies based on user feedback, so if you have ideas for what else it should catch, let us know. Seriously, email us, chat us, whatever.
